Yes She Will

The Presidential Oath

“I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God.”

One of these two great Democrats will say these words next January. And, more importantly, whoever takes this oath will have to fulfill it.

This isn’t about who will beat McCain (we will – all of us). This isn’t about bumper stickers or campaign managers or Tim Russert or “viral videos” or Bill or Michelle or internal memos or superdelegates or Kirk Watson’s 15 seconds in the spotlight.

This is about who is most able to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. And if you study both candidates – you hear what they’re about, you look at how they’ve made change in the past and what they’ve committed their lives to – if you do all that, then read that Presidential Oath again, and ask yourself who is far and away the best candidate to take that oath and lead America out of the dire straits where we now find ourselves.

We believe that leader is Hillary Clinton.

The Big Day

If you missed it, you can watch the Town Hall here.  What an amazing event.

And you can click here to find your polling and caucus location for today. Remember, if you early voted, you must return tonight to caucus at 7pm.  All you must do is show up, write your name down on the sign-in form, and then vote for Hillary’s precinct-level delegates out of the Hillary supporters who attend.  But it’s essential that you show up – our number of delegates is based on what percentage of Hillary supporters is at the event – and since the caucus system counts for roughly 1/3 of the vote (and far fewer people are engaged in the process) your caucus vote means more to the final delegate count than your vote earlier in the day.

Texas-wide Town Hall Tonight

6:30 pm

See you there.
